Our Work

table talk

It starts with conversation

Bridges creates relationship-based programs that help people learn, connect and stand together with courage.

At Bridges Calgary Association, our goal is not simply to
provide information. It’s to create encounters that make understanding personal, memorable, and actionable.

Our programs are designed around three pillars:

SHARED EXPERIENCES

PRACTICAL LEARNING

COMMUNITY ALLYSHIP

We create opportunities for people
to meet, listen, and build genuine
relationships across communities
through programs like Shabbat
dinners, youth activities, and
alumni gatherings.

Through organic learning and open
dialogue, we build knowledge,
challenge stereotypes, and deepen
empathy through shared experiences
and resources that inform and
inspire understanding.

We equip individuals and communities
with the tools, knowledge, and confidence
to stand against hate and help create a
more inclusive Calgary through volunteer
opportunities, partnerships, and community
initiatives that turn understanding into action.
