Join Us for the 2026 Interfaith Dinner Series
Real conversations. Shared traditions. Meaningful allyship. Be part of our Interfaith Shabbat Dinner series.
Bridges Calgary Association was founded by Jewish and Christian community members who believe that the best way to combat antisemitism is by building real relationships. Our Interfaith Shabbat Dinners bring people together for meaningful conversation, shared tradition, and genuine connection.
Why Shabbat?
Shabbat is a weekly moment of pause, gratitude, and connection. It is a tradition that invites people to gather, slow down, and share in a spirit of peace. For guests unfamiliar with Shabbat, the experience is both grounding and inspiring. For those who observe Shabbat regularly, it is an opportunity to welcome new friends and foster authentic connections.
Our Fall 2025 Interfaith Shabbat Dinners
Our fall dinners have been a huge success. Guests from both communities came together for evenings filled with warmth, curiosity, heartfelt conversation, and a shared desire to build stronger interfaith connections in Calgary. The feedback from participants was deeply encouraging, reminding us that these gatherings truly make a difference—one table at a time.
Looking Ahead: 2026
Building on the momentum of our recent dinners, we are now beginning to schedule our 2026 Interfaith Shabbat Dinners and are inviting new hosts and sponsors to join us.
Become a Host
Hosts open their homes to 15–30 guests and help create the warm, welcoming environment at the heart of each gathering. Hosts may be from either the Jewish or Christian community and are community members who care deeply about building understanding and standing against antisemitism.
Become a Sponsor
If hosting isn’t possible, you can still make an impact by becoming a Sponsor. Sponsorships directly support the costs of each dinner and help us provide resources that empower guests to stand against antisemitism in meaningful ways.
All levels of sponsorship are appreciated and acknowledged during the event and in related communications.
Why Your Support Matters
In a time when division can feel easier than understanding, these dinners offer something rare: a welcoming space for genuine relationship-building grounded in respect, tradition, and shared purpose. The connections formed around these tables strengthen Calgary’s interfaith fabric and help cultivate a community united against antisemitism.
Whether as a Host or a Sponsor, your support helps create evenings that change hearts, deepen understanding, and build bridges that last.
Thank you for helping us bring this vision to life—and for standing with us as we work to build a more connected Calgary
